A world-class seminar and meeting facility comprising a 200-seat Lecture Theatre incorporating state-of-the-art technology and a range of other flexible resources. It's a space for staff to come together to connect, learn with and from each other, recharge and generate and test new ideas and thinking which ultimately improve the care for our patients.
Project Objectives
Maintaining The Hub's contemporary interior, while providing a relaxed environment.
Project Outcomes
A customised 48V magnetic profile fitted with a range of adjustable spotlights and linear modules was mounted to the ceiling throughout. The use of magnetic profiles allows for flexibility in design as the magnetic modules can easily be reconfigured and repositioned as required anywhere along the entire length of the profile. The magnetic profile and modules are finished in white, blending in with the ceiling to create a minimal appearance. As The Hub is an education and workspace facility, high-quality illumination is important, therefore all fixtures selected are 3000K in colour temperature and have a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of >90.
