NAB Place Melbourne

With a focus on innovation, collaboration and well-being, NAB Place Melbourne is the new state-of-the-art workplace facility for NAB's Melbourne-based employees.

NAB Place Melbourne is housed within the luminous 405 Bourke Street building known as 'The Lantern', designed by Woods Bagot. The workspace itself was designed by Hassell Studio and occupies 39 levels of the building.

At maximum capacity NAB Place is able to host 5,600 employees whilst providing facilities and spaces designed to support different styles of working.

Although NAB continues to embrace hybrid working, face-to-face interaction remains important across many facets of the business. The workspace was designed to promote and increase employee collaboration and customer relations.

Offices and workspaces were built to facilitate team meetings and strategy sessions where innovative ideas can be brainstormed and shared, whilst the inviting and spacious three-storey customer lounge allows NAB employees to connect and strengthen relationships with their customers. 

Alongside these collaborative and interactive office spaces, the workplace features a learning centre, social hub, auditorium and boardroom. 

NAB Place Melbourne was designed with the health and well-being of its employees in mind. The building is equipped with large studios for exercise, parent rooms, multi-faith rooms and spaces for focus and quiet contemplation. 

There are also 644 bicycle spaces on site and end-of-trip facilities for those who cycle to work.

Large open and airy spaces are featured throughout the interior to maximise natural light, further boosting employee well-being. Clean and crisp white ceilings and walls add to the interior's modern design, creating light and bright work spaces, whilst timber accents and details introduce a touch of warmth to the space, resulting in a comfortable and inviting ambience.
