Project Objectives

The illumination of the poppy wall utilises track-mounted wall wash luminaires that have been specifically designed for museum and gallery applications.

Project Outcomes

With a high colour rendering index of 95, these track luminaires deliver pure, smooth and saturated light amplifying detail and accurately depicting colour, a key requirement for highlighting details of each poppy and ensuring their 'true' red colour is rendered accurately. The selection of a wallwash luminaire ensures that the illumination is vertically and horizontally uniform without the creation of any dark spots.
